MY PERSONAL MESSAGE

Families and Friends of the 591st:

The soldiers of the 591st are currently at Camp Atterbury and doing well. We’re getting accustomed to life here at Camp Atterbury, and were already getting anxious to finishing our training. You would all be proud of the way our soldiers are handling the long days, tough training and the adversity of life at a mobilization station.

I’ll keep you all updated through regular letters from me on both the website and through the Family Readiness Group newsletter. It’s important that you know that we are safe and being well taken care of and it’s important to us to know that you all are being taken well care of as well. Feel free to use the blog on this website to communicate with each other as well as ask questions, the unit and I will check it as often as we can and we’ll do our best to answer what we can. Also take note of the picture gallery that is setup here on the site, it as several pictures that have been taken over our training and pictures of our going away ceremony. We’ll also update our gallery as we take pictures here and in Iraq so that you can see what life is like.

We love you all and we miss you terribly, but we’re staying focused and ready as our unit gets ready for the year to come. 1LT Matt Roberts .
